Materials and Methods 32 – 36 varieties at a site 4 replications, randomized complete block design Plots were 35.5 ft. long and 2 rows wide Soil at each test site was sampled for V. dahliae at planting. Plots were rated for incidence of wilt in August Plots were harvested with a 2-row plot stripper

Conclusions • 1) 2005 recommended varieties (FM 960 types, FM 989 types, DP 455BR) looked good again in 2006. • 2) The only Flex varieties that looked good were AFD 5064F and AFD 5065B2F (tested at one site only with Verticillium wilt). • 3) PM 2326RR was highly ranked in two tests. BCG 520R, AFD Raider 271, PG 440W, FM 832LL, and FM 988LLB2 were highly ranked at one site.
