Text Types of the Portfolio • Correspondence: ISE look totheproduct of correspondenceusingdifferenttypes of lenguagestyles.(e.g. :emails , Postcards, letters , notes , blogs, memo , etc.) • Factual Writing:Itmustrepresentclearinformation and ideas .(e.g. :instructions, directions , reports , article, review , etc.) • Creative and descriptivewriting: Itmustrepresentimaginetivelylanguage.(e.g. : story, diary, description ,etc.)

Correspondence ISE 1 examples: • Letter: Itis a writingway of communication, can be formal or informal depending of the receptor. • Email: Itis a virtual letter. • Blog: Itis a group of texts of differenttypesspeakingaboutone idea. • Memo : Itis a type of short letterwith a differentstructure . • Note: Is a short messagewritten in a especial papercommonlyyellow. • Postcard : Is a letterthatcommonlyissendtofriendsorfamilyduringtripsthatincludesanimage of the place.

Requirementsforthetext of Section 1 • Allthetext of the portfolio musthavebewteen 70 -80 words in thetask of thecorrespondencesection . • Animportantthingthatthe Trinity says :“ Theportoliomustcontainthecandidate´swork and no oneelse´s” thisissaid in the page of the Trinity College of London in thenext link:http://www.trinitycollege.co.uk/site/?id=1959, thisisforeverysection of the portfolio . • The Trinity encouragestothe use of differentwaystohavethebestworkthatyou can .

  5. Preparationforthe Trinity portfolio The Trinity recommends 6-12 weeks of preparationforthe portfolio. Theteachermaygiveonlyonefeedbackpiece per taskforthestudent´s. In thefinal portfolio versionTrinity givesthe especial wallets, coversheetforthe final work.

Trinity T & F activity 1)Yourteacher can giveyou 3 feedbackforms _ 2)Aninstructionsis a posibilityforthesection 1 of the portfolio _ 3)E-mail is a virtual way of communication _ 4)You can copytexts of yourclassmates _ 5)You can use everythingyou can tomake yourworkbetter. _ 6)Youhaveto use 70-80 words in thesection 1 _ 7)Their are 5 section in theportolio _
