What made a big difference to my learning is the freedom I get in class to work where I want, and next to who I want. This helps because if I want a quiet environment then I will go into the blue room and if I want a more casual environment then I will go into other two red and yellow rooms. The PLPs have helped me to be more independent with my learning, and being more independent and focused. You go deeper, into your work as you set the research questions, and the FERQ’s really help with organising my information. • Having the freedom to work wherever I want has helped me manage my work. It has helped me because I can work in all sorts of environments and chose which one suits me the most. I can also choose who I work with and this helps me make wise decisions and helps me work with my partners easily. • I have learnt over time to reflect on what I did right and wrong after a project and do the things I did wrong differently the second time, this is because I have learnt to be a reflective learner by studying the secret skills and applying them to my learning, I will also see that if I’m doing something wrong mid-project I will adjust and correct the problem. • The netbooks may just be normal to us now but if we didn’t have them our learning would be greatly decreased, because things like quick easy access to the internet and programs like one-note are something that we take for granted with all of this technological support and help we can do projects that most other schools can only imagine.
