Once the Permanent orders hearing has been held and the judge orders that the temporary child support order becomes the permanent support order, you will need to vacate the SUPT event. Enter a ‘7’ to relate:
Enter – then the system will say: Event Added Successfully. Press Enter to Continue. (bottom of the screen – in yellow)
Once you enter again – you will get this message box: Would you like to copy a Temporary Support Order into a Support Order 1 (SUP1) Yes or No. It will default to No – you would have to select Yes, then enter.
You will be brought to this event screen where everything that was in the SUPT event is populated in the screen, including the SUP1 event itself. At this point you can change the date or just hit enter and all of the data will be filled into your SUP1 event.
The Screen shot below shows what the system will tell you once you hit enter on that SUP1 event.
This is a screen shot of the events now in this case – you have the NFNR, the SUPT event, the SUPV that vacated the SUPT and the new SUP1 event.
If you go to the tool bar on the left hand side of your event screen you can select Support Orders, and that will bring up only the SUP events that have been entered in that case.
This is what your SUP1 event looks like when you pull it up.
