2. Equipment to test Humidity • LabQuest • Humidity Sensor • Gondola • Balloon • Our gondola is a nature valley cardboard box • Insulated with bubble wrap • Held by string connected to a carabineer • The carabineer attaches to a balloon

3. Hypothesis • Hypothesis: • Hypothesis 1: The ending humidity should be exactly the same as the beginning humidity. • Hypothesis 2: As the balloon goes higher the humidity will decrease. As we come closer to earth the humidity will increase. • After sending the gondola up • Hypothesis 1: Though this would have been true, the rate of rainfall increased during the test. • Hypothesis 2: This hypothesis was proved as the humidity did decrease as we increased the altitude, then started to increase as we brought the balloon back to the ground.
