GENERAL RULES • USS Swimming Rules Apply • Except: • One false start is permitted • Two ESSL Certified Officials Must Be Present • Home Team Has Choice Of Lanes

EVENTS AND ENTRIES • Dual Meet Event List • Swimmers are Permitted to Swim Up • Only the First Heat is Scored • Additional Exhibition Heats • Entry Cards • Blue for Boys (Eligible for Points) • Pink for Girls (Eligible for Points) • Yellow for Exhibition (Not Eligible for Points) • White for Relays (Eligible for Points)
EVENTS AND ENTRIES (CON’T) • Maximum Entries • 3 Events for Points • One Entry per Type of Stroke • Includes Freestyle Relay • Excludes Medley Relay
SCOREKEEPING • Each Team Must Call In the Score • To League Statistician • Within 24 hours • Scoresheeet Must Be Sent In • To League Statistician • Within One Week • Coversheet Must Be Signed • By Referee • By Starter • By Both Coaches
SCOREKEEPING (CON’T) • Coversheet Must Be Sent In • To Mike Frank • Within One Week • Teams Using Team Manager • Send or E-mail data for each Meet • To Statistician
EXHIBITION SWIMMING • Any Swimmer Not Swimming for Score • Must Swim the Same Stroke and Distance • Times Count
SCORING • No Points for a D.Q. • No More Than Two Swimmers per Team May Score In Any Event • No More Than Two Relay Teams per Team May Score In Any Event • No Team is Permitted To Sweep an Event • Ribbons are Awarded Regardless Of A Sweep
SCORING (CON’T) • Points • Individual • 1st Place - 5 Points • 2nd Place - 3 Points • 3rd Place - 1 Point • Relay • 1st Place - 10 Points • 2nd Place - 6 Points • 3rd Place - 2 Points
SCORING (CON’T) • Full and Complete Names Must Be Written On Scoresheet • First and Last • Swimming Too Many Events • Scored In the Order Swum • All Excess Events Disqualified
NOT SWIMMING SCHEDULED MEETS • When it is decided that a meet cannot be held as scheduled, BOTH teams must notify the scheduling committee chairman immediately. There will be a $100.00 fine imposed per team for not adhering to this policy.
NOT SWIMMING SCHEDULED MEETS • The final decision for rescheduling a meet will be made by the scheduling chairman. Both teams will be sent a letter confirming the change. Any meet that is rescheduled without this letter will be considered a forfeit.
CHAMPIONSHIP • Any Time Earned at a Dual Meet Counts Towards Qualifying • Times Earned at Non-League Meets Count For Qualifying • Scoresheets must be Provided to League Statistician • Eligibility • Must Swim 3 Dual Meets • OR • Must Swim 2 Dual Meets and One Invitational
