Combating Terrorism at the Nevada Test Site The U.S. Department of Energy, National Nuclear Security Administration's Nevada Test Site is designated by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Office for Domestic Preparedness (ODP) as the National Center for Exercise Excellence for responder preparation. MISSION To prepare the Nation to fight against terrorism by providing integrated realistic training, exercises, testing, evaluation, and advanced technology.
