  2. Name Plate • 3 Objectives • To assess your skill in metric measurement • To tell us some facts about you • To see how well you follow directions

  3. Name Plate • You will be making a name plate that will be designed to look like a license plate. • You will use the paper I have given you • The paper is NOT the correct size.

  4. Name Plate Dimensions • You must use these EXACT dimensions. • Size of the plate 29.5 cm x 15.5 cm • Border on name plate will be 2 cm in width all the way around. • The name inside the border must be 9.5 cm tall. • No more than 7 letters or numbers and they should be centered. • The letters and/or numbers should reflect something about you – a nickname, sport or hobby. • On the border, put the name of the state or country you were born in. • Also on the border add 2 symbols representing the state or country. • Inside the border, along with the letters/numbers should be 3 more symbols or pictures telling us something about you.
