  1. Math Fellow Training 2013 Tutorial Learning Environment Objective: Coordinators and Fellows will gain an understanding of the key elements of an exemplary tutoring environment For Use by DPS and Blueprint Only.

  2. Tutorial Environment Components Every element in your tutorial environment should be meaningful, purposeful, and contribute to your students' learning. Learning environments should be updated regularly and often. For Use by DPS and Blueprint Only.

  3. Basic Information- Name & School Your name needs to be posted clearly in your tutorial space so it makes it more familiar for students. Post school specific information, (school's name, schedule, core values, mascot, or other images of the school). School-wide procedures or expectations. Welcome to Ms. Smith's Class! For Use by DPS and Blueprint Only.

  4. Objectives, Exit tickets, and Agenda Lesson Content Objectives and Exit Tickets are posted daily for each lesson being taught, foundational and grade level. Lesson objectives are referred to before, during, and at the end ofeach lesson. Daily schedule/agenda is posted and referred to. For Use by DPS and Blueprint Only.

  5. Expectations and Procedures Clear visuals that enforce high expectations for behavior and academics. Expectations need to have visual supports. Do Now and Ticket to Leave expectation are posted For Use by DPS and Blueprint Only.

  6. Word Wall Word or vocabulary wall that supports student learning. Easily accessible to students, updated regularly, has definitions, examples, and visuals/models. Word walls are integrated into daily lessons. For Use by DPS and Blueprint Only.
