They will also learn how the use of hydrology techniques can control most cases of flooding and the damage caused. • Approach and Methods • ***Students will become familiar • with new vocabulary*** • Hydrology • Water Cycle • Precipitation • Evaporation • Infiltration • Transpiration Final Outcomes _ Extra Credit Students will learn about the Community Collaborative Rain Hail and Snow Network (also Known as CoCoRAHS) and how the Rain gauge to the left is used to track rainfall. As an extra credit assignment the students will be given a chance to use the rain gauge and collect rainfall data.
