Rule # 1- Who is Who-Clarity • Organization Structure • Who is doing what • Who is reporting to Whom • Re-Constructing as per Re-Construction Dimensions if required.
Rule # 2- Business Plan • Making a Business Plan (written business plan not just in the mind of the entrepreneur or MD of the company) • Business Plan Alignment Documents • A. Alignment documents to each department • B. Alignment document to each person
Rule # 3- Process Benchmarking • Business Process Mapping in each department • Business Process Implementation • Business Process corrections/re-engineering for improvement
Rule # 4- Performance Management • What is the scale of measurement for each role • What is the next level of engagement in the organization up to 3 levels for each role. • How much performance management is unbiased and transparent?
Rule # 5- Learning Organization • Competency documentation for each role in the organization in terms of Functional, Behavioral, Managerial and Linguistic Skills • Enabling employee to measure with minimum inputs on his/her role related performance • Providing direct and indirect skill development inputs as an intervention till the improvement is achieved
Rule # 6-Cloning Leadership • Every Responsible critical position in the company should clone his/her role with Plan A and Plan B persons • Cloning is done with a transparent mind to keep organization interests first. • All cloning process will be documented • The term “Loyalty” does not stop cloning process. (Even the most trust worthy person should also do the cloning exercise as persons are indispensible but not the organization)
Rule # 7-Behavioral Leadership • Identification of Level based behaviors • Education on the level based behaviors • Grounding in Work the role based behaviors • Doing time to time audit on the impact of behaviors (both good and bad)
Rule # 8-Risk Management • Identification of Risks • Segregation of risks • Risk Management to reduce Risks • Impact Management in case of difficulty of avoiding risks.
Rule # 9 – CRM Leadership • State of Mind Orientation of each employee who involved in direct and indirect Customer Relationship Functions • Measuring state of mind with outward actions and behaviors • Continuous introspection of short term, medium term and long term CRM efforts • Making Required Corrections
Rule # 10 – Auditing Leadership • Internal Audit • External Audit • Measuring and Improving the sanctity of Audit by making it autonomous • Process Audit, People Audit, Communication Audit, Strategy Audit and CRM Audit are the required audits apart from regular Accounts & Finance/Statutory Audits to assess the health of organization development and growth potential.
Rule # 11 – Value Addition (Consultancy Leadership) • Value Addition to the organization • Value addition to the independent roles • Value addition to the management • Value Addition to all other stakeholders of the organization as consultancy is meant for organization development.
