325 ACS/DOC Mission/Goal DOC Mission Train AF, ANG, and AF Reserve officers Command and Control Fundamentals focusing on close control principles IAW the W-ABM-AMS-TN UABM syllabus (March 2008). DOC Goal Provide the building blocks, both academically and positionally, that students will need to execute live operations.

325 ACS/DOC Objectives • OPERATIONAL PERFORMANCE • Maintain syllabus (Mar 2008) to support CAF-stated entry requirements – Our grad level= CAF entry requirements • Provide UABMs a basic introduction to weapons control, focusing on Simulated Tactical Intercepts • Implement and maintain a “Cadre Development Path” for new personnel that ensures personal and professional development experience • Provide education/learning/leadership opportunities for flight personnel to enhance their personal and professional growth
325 ACS/DOC Objectives • MISSION SUPPORT • Maintain/procure up-to-date mission capabilities concurrent with CAF weapons systems • Live WT/Weapons Officers • Based on a current UMD, ensure unit manning is maintained to reflect mission • Ensuring all flight personnel maintain qualification/certification in current job and able to backfill other flights if required
325 ACS/DOC Objectives • COMBAT READINESS • Maintain Fitness Program IAW AFI 10-248 and other applicable guidance to ensure each Airman is fit to fight • PTLs track PT IAW squadron PT standards • Maintain an active commander’s readiness function to ensure each Airman meets mobility/readiness requirements • Each flight member is assigned to active AEF and ready to deploy at a moment’s notice • Ensure effective squadron integration in all 325th Fighter Wing Exercises • Ensuring flight members are removed from all scheduled obligations if involved in exercise
325 ACS/DOC Objectives • QUALITY PEOPLE • Provide educational/learning/leadership opportunities for the cadre and students to enhance their personal and professional growth • Allowing time for flight members to prepare for WAPS testing • Ensuring flight personnel are entered into upgrade positions as soon as possible • Providing an opportunity for flight members to continue higher education • Recruit and train highly qualified operators, instructors and support cadre in battle management/command and control and supporting functions • Build the Airmen from the ground up • Upgrading IABMs with new qualifications when warranted
Mission/Programs • DOC supports the 325 ACS mission by providing student Air Battle Managers a basic introduction to command and control fundamentals through the execution of 14 positional training, 12 academic events, and one test • 91 hours simulation, 24 hours academics • Building block approach, mass briefings
Strengths • Instructor experience adds tremendous value to academic and positional training • Professional staff throughout the flight • Regimented training schedule
Initiatives • New syllabus testing and assessment for meeting current CAF requirements resulting from ABM conference • Facilitating inter-flight crossflow training to provide PS support across five flights executing two syllabi • Integrating scheduling with contractors using new system (GTIMS)
