My trip to Poland, by Doriane Hello, I would like to tell you about my trip to Poland in October. We stayed for 5 days. It was a fun experience. We stayed with a host family in their house. I was in a small village near Źarki . They were very nice and attentive. The host family was two parents and one boy called Adrian who was eighteen. Źarki We went to school with the Polish students every day. The school was a fairly old building. In Poland, we visited Krakow, Źarki, the saltmine of Wieliczka of with all the teachers and students of all six countries. With my Polish student Adrian, I visited Czestochowa, we went to a lake near Źarki . During this fabulous experience, I learnt that Polish boys are real "gentlemen". They open doors for you, they pay for food, drink, things for you. We had a present from our Polish partners. In the evening, we went to play bowling and we visited some towns around Źarki . There was just a problem : time. We hadn't enough time to visit a lot of things and places. This week was very interesting and enriching. I could meet a lot of students from Poland, Spain, Turkey, Bulgaria and Romania and learn about their countries. I could share with other students. Wieliczka TwoPolishgentlemen The school What's more, during this trip, I discovered students who are in my school. If we had not gone to Poland, we would not have met and talked. Dancing the Polonaise For our last evening, the Polish team had prepared a «party». Polish students made a demonstration of a traditional Polish dance: the Polonaise. It was very funny. We tried to dance it. We ate Polish food and danced with all the Comenius participants. We really enjoyed ourselves. In order to conclude this fun evening, all the students and all the teachers wrote in a «gold book». We owe the success of this journey to our teachers on whom we could count in any circumstances.Every day was very well organized and we could see a lot of things and beautiful places. In summary, I can say that, in my opinion, this trip was a real experience of sharing with unknown people. We learnt that foreign students aren’t very different from us. It was an experience which I will never forget. Sharing all sorts of Polishfood Hikingfrom one castle to another Thank you very much to Comenius for these two years of pleasure, work, sharing and discovery. Bye, Doriane
