  5. THERE!! MY STORY!! I had to keep on walking. I was so tired and hot. My feet were so sore and I could barely walk. But the one thing that made my body keep on going was the chance of surviving. Egypt was deserted after the apocalypse that happened. The apocalypse happened 2 weeks ago and every Egyptian evacuated. This shocked the whole world. I needed to help so a week ago I flew here to fight for Egypt. While I was coming here the pilot lost control of the plane and we crashed. The pilot died in the crash but I survived. The only way I could get out of Egypt was to send a signal at the tower beside the colossi of Memnon. I had no water to drink but I kept going. I could now see a bit of the statue. I knew about these two statues. So to pass the time and the pain I kept repeating to myself all the facts I know.

  6. THE STORY PT 2 “ The twin statues depict Amenhotep III. This statue was built as a mortuary temple in Thebes that was guarded by two gigantic statues on the outer gates.” I said to myself. After I was done repeating facts about the Colossi of Memnon I could now see the statues and the radio tower!! I ran as fast as my body can manage. When I got there I was shocked of what I saw. I quickly hid behind a barrier left from the soldiers. I was so frustrated! There were ten walking corpses surrounding the radio tower! I could never manage getting through those things in this condition! I had to think of something. I had to think fast! I looked around and saw a small grenade. I picked it up and thought what would I do with this thing? I suddenly got an idea! I threw the grenade as far as I can throw and the corpses heard it and walked towards it. Once they cleared out I ran to the tower . I climbed up the tower with all my might and soon I got to the top. I ran towards the radio and called for help. Soon somebody answered. They were coming for me!! I was so happy! Once the helicopter got here I already climbed down and was waiting. They threw down the ladder and I knew I was safe.
