  1. Acknowledgments: These equipments have received financial support from INSU, CNES, Région PACA, and Conseil Général des Bouches du Rhône Technological PlatformsLaboratory & Industry collaborations • In the context of its brand new building and the associated equipments, the LAM has developed, in close collaboration with industry, three technological platforms devoted to different aspect of manufacturing and testing of optically-based systems for ground and space astronomical instruments. All these technological platforms have been selected by the French Pole of Competitiveness POPSud/Optitec “Photonique : Systèmes complexes d’optique et d’imagerie”. • SPATIAL : This platform is a space facility dedicated to Assembly, Integration and environmental Tests (AIT) of space instruments for astrophysics. It offers several UV-IR optical benches in cryogenic vacuum chambers including a new large (40m3) one (ERIOS) with an extremely high stability optical bench. All these equipments are located in a suite of 1000 m² of class 100-100000 rooms. These equipments are among the most important in European laboratories, and have been designed to be complementary with those available in French industry and other laboratories. • POLARIS: This POLishing Active and Robotic Integrated System is devoted to Research and Development for manufacturing processes of large aspheric optics up to 2.5m diameter. It is the result of a close collaboration between LAM and the optical manufacturer SESO. This new technological platform combines the complementary expertises of the laboratory and the industry on two different polishing techniques using active optics methods and robotic tools. This association of techniques, on such a large diameter, is unique in Europe. • MOEMS : This platform is dedicated to optical and electronic characterization (in static and dynamic modes) of Micro-Opto-Electro-Mechanical-Systems (MOEMS) developed for new generation of astronomical instrumentation, for ground-based and space telescopes. It includes three benches located in class 10000 rooms and equipped with high resolution interferometer (sub-nanometer accuracy) and cryogenic vacuum chamber (temperature range: ambient – 30K), in order to test these components and instrument demonstrators in space environment.
