  4. Important Contributions • He went on to Lincoln University in Pennsylvania. • Graduated from Howard University Law School in 1933 • Became lawyer for NAACP • Won Brown v Board of Education of Topeka; supporting equal rights • 1961 named judge of US Court of Appeals

  5. Other Interesting Facts We Learned • Became lawyer for Baltimore chapter of Naacp. • Named judge to USA court of appeals for the secendCircult. • Named solicitor general of the United states. Began work at Naacp headquarters in New York city. Graduated from Howared University law school.
