  3. How to take the traditional classroom and transform into CCSS • Article on “Student Driven Common Core Classrooms” • Pre-read the article and determine what you could “put in place” in your classroom or what do you use within this list that works well.

  4. What does a CCSS classroom look like? • Does your classroom include the following three opportunities: 3 ELA/Literacy Shifts • Building knowledge through content rich information text • Reading and writing grounded evidence from text • Regular practice with complex text and it’s academic vocabulary
