LAW ENFORCEMENTREPORT • All Command Centers are reporting an increase in: Auto Theft, Burglary of Vehicles plus both Pebble Hills & Mission Valley report increase in burglaries along with the same problems as command centers. • Keep your vehicles locked, windows rolled up and the use of an anti-theft devise are encouraged.
Law Enforcement Report • Community College reports no issues due to spring break. • Cielo Vista Mall – increase in vehicle thefts
Committee Reports • The CPP program and recommendations have been presented to the chief. There are approx 25 positions of which 15 will be for El Paso Police Officers and 10 for Leaps Members. • Time frame for the program is being reviewed.
Committee Reports • The conference committee informed the members that there was the possibility of a guest speaker from homeland security for the conference, the request has been submitted. • Recognition & Membership – committee reports no new nominees have been submitted. • Program Committee – next speaker will be someone from the Stash house program.
Next Meeting • Due to the first Wednesday being the fourth of July, the meeting for the month of July has been moved to July 11, 2007
