  1. Contents of the Universe By: Gus K.

  2. The Universe • A Solar system comprises the Sun, or any single star in which planets orbit around. In each galaxy there are billions of Suns and planets and in the universe there are billions of galaxies. You can see how hard it is to travel to the moon, but traveling to a different galaxy, well that’s something! Also this expands the probability of other life out in the universe, or “Aliens”.

  3. The Pattern to the Sun • So from a list of planets from the Sun it goes, Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. These are the planets you know of any other planets but have you heard of Ceres an asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter? Or Eris the neighbor of Pluto with it’s own atmosphere? Or even Haumea who sits in the Kuiper belt made of rock and a coating of ice. These are some you probably didn’t know, but how about the other billion?

  4. Earth • Earth’s Diameter is approximately 7,900 miles long with a landmass of 13 trillion pounds with an orbit time of 365.25 days to orbit the sun. Earth’s atmosphere blocks deadly radiation from space and the sun. About 70% is covered of water and only 30% is landmass.
