What are Pyramids? • The pyramid of Giza is the oldest and largest of them all. • The pyramids are: Pyramid of Khofu, The Pyramid of Khara and the pyramid of Mankara. • They are triangulared prism shaped.
What is a Pharaoh? • A Pharaoh was traditionlly a name given to someone who ruled Ancient Egypt. • For example: King Tut (Tutankhamun) was about 6-9 years old when he became the rulre of Egypt. He ruled Egypt until he died and he was 18 when it happened.
What are Burial Customs? • It was necessary to do this because that is when the mummifacations and casting spells and grave goods for the after life. • They use a big colorful case which hold the mummy’s.
What are Hieroglyphics? • A Greek word thet means sacred writting on stones. • They were used for official inscriptions on monuments. • There were only 24 consonates. • The vowels were not written.
Famous Pharaohs • Zoser: The first pyramid ever, was built for Zoser. • Snofru:During his reign, a lot of temples were built. • Khufu: her was responsible forn the great pyramid of Giza. • Pepy2: He was the longest reigning monarch ever.
Interisting Facts I Found • That Zoser had the first pyramid built for him. • That Hatshepsut was wearing a false beard and was wearing mens clothing.
