Wave 1: All classroom teachers embed strategies to support, stretch and challenge able learners in their classroom. Teachers supported through toolboxes/INSET. Students also have Challenge Me cards to request extra support and challenge in lessons. Y7: Half termly assembly Passport Critical Thinking sessions. Y9: Half termly assembly Passport MENSA sessions Brilliant Club. Year 10: Half termly assembly Brilliant Club Spire Hub. Year 11: Half termly assembly A/A* Friday skill sessions– Subject specific A/A* classes. Plus external / extracurricular / links with universities / independent schools. Oxbridge programme.
