Medical Situations/Physical Limitations • Impact of increase in allergies (i.e. latex) • Increase in students with identified physical limitations • Review duty to accommodate • Understand restrictions on fulfilling competencies as outlined by accrediting bodies
Learning Disabilities/ Mental Health • Increase in students with self disclosed circumstances • Broadening of the types of circumstances that require accommodation • Impact on licensing/registration requirements • Proactive as well as reactive actions and services • Collaboration with centre for students with disabilities
