26. 3rd anniversary I believe that international Reflections have made the world a smaller place for me, made me understand diversity and given me the impetus and courage to go beyond boundaries by visiting Mexico last year and later this year Brazil.  I could pick ten books on various countries in the world but I am more likely to remember ten 200 word Reflections. 27. What readers think The article from Leeds Met South Asia after the Tsunami was especially poignant and brought that office and people - so many miles away - closer. The two that particularly stick in my mind were a student who was missing his young child and details of orthodox Christmas celebrations.

Reaction to other Reflections Many of the Reflections …. make you think or laugh.  Some of the best Reflections have been by support staff who relish putting their experiences and thoughts into print. The International Reflections serve as a constant reminder of the global context in which we both live and work, they remind me of the diversity of our students and of the breadth of the activity of the University.
