RMGRR122 Approved by RMS • RMGRR122, Synchronization with NPRR608, Alignment of Transaction Timing to the PUCT Performance Measures (Vote) • 05/06/14 Review/Vote: This Retail Market Guide Revision Request aligns ERCOT’s processing time with the transactional timing in the Public Utility Commission of Texas’ (PUCT’s) Performance Measures. • 06/03/14 Impact Analysis Review/Vote: No project required. No impacts to ERCOT staffing, business functions or grid operations and practices. This Retail Market Guide Revision Request RMGRR) can take effect upon Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) approval. • 05/06/14: RMS unanimously Approved RMGRR122 as recommended by TDTWG and TX SET. IA is scheduled for RMS review on 6/3/14. • 06/03/14: RMS Unanimously Approved IA as submitted • Since RMGRR122 is a synchronization to NPRR608, RMS recommends that TAC “TABLE RMGRR122” awaiting NPRR608 approval during the August Board meeting. TDTWG NAESB EDM v1.6 • Texas Data Transport Working Group (TDTWG) NAESB EDM V 1.6 Guide Update • Redlined changes supports NPRR555 “Load Resource Participation in Security-Constrained Economic Dispatch” and the file type definition for Aggregate Load Resources in SCED. • New file types supported are – Site Data, Event Data, NIDR Meter Reads and Interval Data Meter Reads. • NPRR555 System implementation June 1, 2014 • 06/03/14: RMS Unanimously Approved NAESB EDM v1.6 Implementation Guide with an effective date of June 4, 2014. GREAT NEWS for COMPETITION: • Sharyland Utilities Completed their Transition to Competition with Meter Read Cycles on May 30, 2014! • On June 2, 2014 Sharyland Utilities (SU) read their first meter read cycle into Competition and SU EDI IDs are 100% in the ERCOT Retail Market! • 71.2% of their Customer base made their Choice of Retail Providers! Sharyland Transition Issue: • Currently working to resolve issue involving approximately 172 Customers with multiple ESI IDs where one ESI ID is with the Competitive REP and their remaining ESI IDs are with Default REP(s). • PUCT Staff and SU Concerns: When Customer contracted with Competitive REP (CR) on one premise Customer may have thought that included all premises assigned to the same Customer. • Disconnect for Non-Payment (DNP) activities for these premises were temporarily suspended. • MarkeTrak Issues were created by SU that included both Competitive and Default REPs to investigate Customer’s intent for all their ESI IDs. A 10 Business Day grace period were provided to Retailers to complete their investigations. RMS Update to TAC
Announcements! • AMS Data Workshop: • http://www.ercot.com/calendar/2014/06/20140627-AMSDATAWORK • July 8, 2014 RMS Meeting Cancelled • With the July 4th holiday the weekend prior to RMS, concerns were voiced during the June 3rd RMS meeting that RMS may have issues establishing a quorum that would prevent voting on key documents. • Also, with increased traffic on roads and in airports, potential increased cost for airfare and overnight hotel stay, RMS Leadership along with ERCOT made the decision to cancel the July 8th RMS meeting.
