User notes Preparation for activity on slide 18: Go to the download page on the AC website (www.australiancurriculum.edu.au/Download). Select a learning area on the left and tick the box for scope and sequence charts from the right hand list. Print out the scope and sequence charts and glue them to card. Cut the chart into the discrete content descriptions, ready for teachers to sort.

Using the ‘Search’ tool Use ‘ Search’ and type in keywordsto locate the partsof the curriculumof interest to you

Ask staff to sort the content description cards into a continuum from F–10. Share the reasons for placing the content descriptions in that order. Refer to the scope and sequence and check their order and that of the actual sequence.
