  2. Fire Prevention Danger Signs Watch for the Smokey Bear Signs. They have been installed at strategic locations in and around our community. The hope is that these signs will heighten awareness by giving an, “at-a-glance” rating for the fire potential in our area. These signs are monitored and notification changed, as the need arises, in accordance with the West Virginia Division of Forestry fire potential assessment. The installation of the signs is another example of our continued commitment to creating and maintaining an informed Firewise Community.
