1. Fonts and masthead designs for Allegro music magazine _Introduction_ This presentation is about masthead designs and fonts I used for my music magazine.

3. Fonts used and why? This is the masthead of my magazine cover. The font I used is called ‘’Lucida Console’’ I used this font, because it looks bold and easy to read. I used a big number of adjustments to the masthead like; drop shadow, inner shadow, outer glow and color overlay. These effects enabled me to make my masthead look more outstanding and appealing. I included ‘’UK’’ at the middle of ‘’O’’ to indicate that the magazine is only published in UK. For the text on the front cover I used ‘’Impact’’ font for the titles to make it look bolder. The effects I applied to it are inner glow, outer glow and drop shadow. I used the brush to make these white lines behind the text to make it look more eye-catching. For these I used the font called ‘’Lucida Console’’ the same font I used for the masthead. I like this font, because it looks stylish, modern and suits the audience of young people.
