ESB Networks – MCR0177 DG4 for Local Authority Public Lighting • Summary Information • The DG4 Use of System tariff will apply to all unmetered public lighting and other unmetered • load types where the registered customer is a local authority. • Relevant Local Authorities include: Dublin Corporation, County Councils, Urban Councils, • Borough Councils and NRA • Load Types: All Public Lights types including: LED, PED, Boll, Beac, etc • Burning Hour Calendar : Applicable to all three burning hour calendars - D2D, D2M & 24 Hr • MP Status = E (Energised) • Public Lighting registered to Private Developers, Private Public Partnerships and Harbour • and Port Authorities will continue to be billed on DG3 Use of System tariff. • Approx 40,000 TMPRNs are impacted by MCR 0177 and will be changed from DG3 to DG4 • following go-live. • The full list of all TMPRNs to be changed from DG3 to DG4 will be advised to the • relevant suppliers in advance of that date.

ESB Networks – MCR0177 DG4 for Local Authority Public Lighting • Sequence of Events • The revised schema will issue on week ending 23rd July 2010, and the Go-Live weekend for the schema upgrade will take place on the weekend of Friday 19th to Sunday 21stNovember. IPT requirements have yet to be discussed with Gemserv. • Change over of TMPRNs from DG3 to DG4 • Starting early December and after completion of the DUoS Unmetered Billing that is scheduled for Dec 1st , Networks-ISU will run a script to change the DUoS Group from DG3 to DG4 for a portion of the affected TMPRNs • Daily volumes of TMPRNs will be scheduled, and please note that throughput will be agreed in advance with each Supplier who is impacted by MCR0177 • One 700 MM will be sent for each TMPRN that has been changed • Ideally the change-over will be completed by Fri 17th Dec, but could potentially be extended if needed up to 22nd Dec and by agreement with individual Suppliers • The DUoS Unmetered billing for December 2010 charges is scheduled for 3rd January 2011. • Note that all DG3 and DG4 MPRNs will be billed at the same DUoS rates, whatever is current at that time. • DUoS Rates for DG4 will be changed in ESB Networks system during January 2011 effective from 1st Jan 2011 • The Unmetered billing for Jan 2011 charges is scheduled for 1st February 2011 • DG3 and DG4 MPRNs will be billed at different rates. • As normal, a 701 MM will be sent for every TMPRN • And please note that dates are approximate and subject to further refinement and also agreement with IGG
