Methodology and Evaluation The courses are taught using a variety of methods: Lecture sessions, interactive sessions, hands-on lab sessions, projects, assignments, case studies, video/audio cassettes Evaluation is continuous and based on : in-semester Tests (called as “Minors”), and End-semester tests ( called as”Major”), quizzes, home assignments, open ended projects, term papers etc. Grading System: Letter grades are awarded

Recent Students Achievements • A Few Accolades earned by our Students … • 1st Position in ACM – International Collegiate Programming Contest, Kanpur Regional, next round world finals to be held at Stock Holm • 3 Students in top 10 from IIITM, including the first prize, at “Reliance Great Indian Programming Challenge”. • Student among top 1,000 worldwide in Google Code jam Programming Contest • 13 students ranked under 100 in GATE 2008 including AIR 2, 4 and 8. • More than 10 students of current final batch were selected for interviews in a nation wide internship program conducted by MeritTrac for Microsoft India and one cleared it. • More than 15 students were short listed for the interview in prestigious “Code4Bill” initiative by Microsoft in 2006 and two of them finally got selected.
