My Reflections I enjoyed volunteering at the nursing home and helping the elderly of my community. Despite my initial fears, it wasn’t as bad as I thought and I actually had some fun. Some of the residents were humorous, while some were mean to each other and the nurses. Even though I enjoyed helping the residents, I felt sorry for some of them because of their conditions and handicaps. It made me appreciate life more. At end of the day I was happy because I knew that I helped make someone’s day a little better.
