  3. 8 regular meetings thus far, 1 joint with LM (Austin), 1 joint with COM/SP/CEDA 3 more regular meetings and a social planned, 1 joint with WIE 5 Officers meetings No Consultants Workshop in 2015 Volunteered to assist N3XT. Kai especially helpful identifying and recruiting speakers. On-site help unnecessary Website improvement remains conceptual CTCN Affinity Group 2016 Update

  5. SWOT Analysis Strength – Good teamwork & network to recruit speakers. Weakness – Retaining new members and persuading more regulars to join IEEE. Opportunity – Become more effective connecting contractors with consultants. Threat – Staying relevant among many networking opportunities for local entrepreneurs, consultants, professionals

  6. Chapter Plans / Issues Mix topics at monthly meetings to cover professional development, training, and technical topics. Improve website, add link to CTS job opportunities page, switch to WordPress Co-host/support workshop with chapters sharing same interests. Attract younger members with current and relevant topics and speakers. Add one more elected Member at Large
