  4. Ch 2 Test Analysis – Per 3 • Pre-Test Average Score 43% • Post-Test Average Score 68% • % Increase 158% Comments • The bonus question is included in your class average. However, it is not included in your performance analysis • If you scored an “F” on the post-test, I have indicated areas that you need more work in. • You are to help yourself by studying those areas more. • When all is said and done…you are responsible for the material!

  6. Before We Begin… • Today we will begin to get ready for Chapter 3 which is all about algebra & integers… • However, before we do that I need to make sure that we are all “talking the talk” of math… • Our first assignment in this chapter is an activity to help us understand the vocabulary…

Expectations • In today’s activity you will work with a partner • It is expected that you are on task and working the entire time • If you cannot control yourself you will be sent to a time out with an alternative assignment (Text p. 107-108 #1 – 36) • Please do not put me in the position where I have to send you to a time out!

  8. Activity • You will work with a partner (I will assign the partner) • You will be given an overhead, Marker, and a vocabulary word. • You will have 10 minutes to research the definition and examples of the word. • You will then present your findings to the class
