FALL 2012 SELECTION PROCESS • The campus is impacted at the transfer level and will implement supplementary criteria for admission. • Based on space availability, transfer applicants from the Local Area will be accommodated first. • Local area community colleges are: • College of the Sequoias • Fresno City College • Merced Community College • Modesto Community College • Reedley College • West Hills Community College • West Hills College-Lemoore.
FALL 2012 SELECTION PROCESS • Students from colleges not considered local area are encouraged to have a 2.7 GPA or higher. FILING PERIODS, CON’T • March 15, 2012 Register for DOG DAYS (orientation) . • April 14, 2012 Attend Preview Day. • June, 2012 DOG DAYS: New Student Orientation sessions begin. • June 30, 2012 Deadline to submit a final, official transcript for your current community college (s) with Spring grades posted. Request a CSU G.E. certification for your community college if applicable • August 22, 2012 Instruction for Fall 2012 begin
MUST KNOW • All Admission requirements must be met by the Spring Semester, no summer work is allowed for admission purposes. • C- are allowed in the 4 Foundation Classes • Students will be admitted based on official transcript information • Students will be conditionally admitted until final transcripts are received • Set up email, portal and check weekly • Applicant must meet all deadlines or application will be withdrawn
CAMPUS APPEALS and SECOND REVIEW PROCESSES • Submit Special Admission Request form via email or mail. • Appeals will be considered on a case by case basis only. • Notification of decision or update on request will occur within 30 days.
