  3. How to get funding • Conferences of National Significance Program (CoNS) • Through the NRHSN • www.nrhsn.org.au “benefits” tab • “conferences” • Funding from DoHA • Must be a member of Rural Health Club (RAHMS)

  4. CoNS • Emphasis on  rural, remote and/or Indigenous  health • Encouraged to present papers • Covers registration fee, travel costs and accommodation costs up to $70 per night • Must submit a report to the NRHSN afterwards

  5. Other Ways • Ask the conference organisers • Often willing to support students • Need to demonstrate why you would be a good candidate • Ask the uni • Start with your own faculty • Normally reserved for post-grad students • Most likely if you have are presenting a paper • Combine all three!
