The History Department at Wright State University is seeking to hire a Coordinator and social studies teacher/mentor for the Teaching American History Project, a grant funded initiative with the Dayton Public Schools. Candidates must have a B.S. in Social Studies Education, a graduate degree in a related field, and three years social studies classroom teaching experience. Successful applicants will also demonstrate a high degree of competence in computer and multimedia applications and excellent interpersonal skills. The coordinator will mentor teachers, do demonstration teaching, participate in resource development, and coordinate project activities in the schools.

Curriculum and Web Site Develop • The Dayton Public Schools are reviewing proposals for a contract to produce the project Website and Curriculum Resource Materials. The contractor will participate in project coordination, meet regularly with the TAH Project team, work with historians and curriculum, align lesson plans and curriculum with Ohio standards, revise and edit reports and publications.
