  18. SUMMARY • Scoliosis is a diagnosis of exclusion • Progression is related to growth in idiopathic and neuromuscular • Early diagnosis for brace treatment in idiopathic scoliosis- this is never a cure! • Surgery is for large curves in growing children or progressive conditions
