  4. Purpose (Cont.) • Contrasts – • Being lost and dying in Adam with being saved and spiritually alive in Christ • The law and works with grace and faith • Living in the flesh and producing its works with walking by the Spirit

  5. Date and Place Written • Probably written in Ephesus • Probably around A.D. 55 or 56 • Other possible places is Antioch or Greece possibly around A.D. 48
