  1. Open grade book, select class period, and R1 reporting term.Select Final grades option. Citizenship column appears and categories for final grades appear.

  2. To place a citizenship grade, click on the grade box. Next, right click to open grades options. Click on “Grades” to view the citizenship grade items. Select H for honorable, S for satisfactory, N for needs improvement, and U for Unsatisfactory. Finally, click on “Save” to keep your grade selections.

  3. Before you finalize your final grades, you may need to override the final grade for a student.This will probably be done to show an incomplete for a class. You do this by clicking on the students final average in the final grade section. Right click on the grade and select the option called “Show Score Inspector”. A window with the override options will open.

  4. In this box check mark the Manual override box. Next, place a zero in the percentage box. Click the down arrow in the Grade box and select the letter “I” for incomplete. Fill in a comment giving the reason for the incomplete grade. Click the “close” button and then press “Save” to keep the changes made.

  5. The override of the grade will be indicated by a red circled letter “I” and a circled letter “c” indicating that there is a comment placed with the reason for the incomplete grade.Should the student bring their work before the final grades are posted, simply click as before, remove the override mark and the comment and the current grade will show.

  6. Preparing to set your final grades, begins by selecting then “R1 in Progress” bar and pointing and clicking on the bar. This will open the final grades window.

  7. If your grades are not yet final, simply indicate with a comment as to when your grades will be ready. This will indicate to the administrator when to finalize and store grades into the historical grade file. Click the “OK” button, but do not check the Final Grades complete box.

  8. When your grades are final, Check the box indicating final grades are complete. Fill the comment box with a message that grades are complete, and press the “OK” button. You have finalized your reporting period grades. Grades are now ready for posting into the Report Card.

  9. A check mark will indicate your grades are complete for reporting period
