INTEGRATION OF THE DEPLOYED SOLUTION WITH NATIONAL/REGIONAL HEALTHCARE SYSTEMS • NETC@ARDS already has an important strategic impact for countries (like Greece) starting now: • NETC@RDS as a guidance for national developments (YPESDA): • NETC@RDS compatible specifications / approach adopted • Pilot regions implementation strategy adopted • NETC@RDS consortioum experience to be utilized • NETC@RDS compatibility is already a requirement in tenders
2. SYNERGIC COORDINATION WITH OTHER ON-GOIN INITIATIVES IN CROSS-BORDER HC PROVISION • A. Complementarity of services • Main common objective of all initiatives: provide cross-border e-health services to mobile EU citizens • Strong complementarity of current services. FROM STRATEGY TO PRACTICE: EXAMPLES OF POSSIBLE COOPERATION (AS STARTING POINTS) • NETC@RDS has developed, for example, a number of services / procedures/technologies that could be useful, i.e.: • The General Agreement, as the basis for cooperation • The security / certification policy for making the initiative feasible in a real life environment • Experience in setting up – runing this type of pilots • …..
