  2. Materials needed: • Pens – used for everything except what goes on Scantron • # 2 lead pencils (sharpened) Used on Scantron. Avoid erasure. Make sure it is a #2 lead pencil

  3. Parts • Short multiple choice type on Ch. 1-5 • Short responses on: Night The Last Days • Essay (based on concepts studied in the text)

  5. For the Essay • Chapter 6: Sexuality (Since it is recent material)

  15. Organization of essay: Into • Tried to grab reader’s interest • Contains a thesis statement • In this case, the statement would say that Jesus, the Church and the Scriptures help us to create a Christian lifestyle in regard to ________.

  16. Body paragraph • This is the longest paragraph • It will contain several learnings from the chapter in question. You can say, first of all, secondly, a third point raised, etc. • It will have what is learned as well as the source. You can quote or paraphrase. Example: We are made in God’s image. Reference to Genesis and the story of creation. Also tell what it means.

  17. Conclusion • Summary of your main points

  18. Length • At least 3 paragraphs – can be more • The more specific you are, the better. This also applies to the shorter answers.
