  2. Suits For Women Before 1980 • Skirts below the knees • Tops usually came up to the neck • Accentuated fashion

  3. Suits in the 80‘s • Large shoulder pads supported wider cut sleeves • Women started wearing pants • Feminine bowties were used to soften the manly appearance

  4. Suits in the 90’s to present day • Suits became more feminine • Tops were cut lower • Women could wear skirts or pants • Colors became more neutral

Men “Business Casual” Khakis Suits Chinos and Izod (Is a type of golf clothes, not acceptable for women at the “Casual Events”) Women Pant Suits (Used particularly for board meetings) Sweaters and Jackets (For the hedge-fund clients) Dresses (not frilly or girly) High Collars and Sober Suits (A safe way to dressing nice) Business Attire… Men vs. Women:

  6. Business Attire… Men vs. Women: • Main reason for women dressing up “appropriately”, in more cases better then men, is to show authority. • What women wear becomes the embodiment of their company. • Most women don’t want to talk about fashion openly, for fear of appearing frivolous.
