  4. Location • The film is set in Los Angeles in James Franco’s house where he is throwing a party when the apocalypse happens. The picture below is the house the film takes place in.

  5. Storyline • This is the end is a film based on the apocalypse where all the characters play themselves. The beginning of the film starts off with Seth Rogen meeting his friend Jay Burchel, Rogen then goes on to convince Burchel to go to James Franco’s party which is full of Celebrities, when suddenly the apocalypse starts to happen killing off the celebrities, only leaving the actors listed in slide 2, The film the goes on to show you how they survive in the house with all the dangerous things lurking outside.

  6. Reviews • The film got mainly good review, it got a 6.9/10 from IMBD and an 8/10 from CinemaBlend.com, The film has been called the funniest film of 2013 by multiple film reviewers and the actors all got high ratings.

  7. My project • If I was going to produce a film like This is the end in Chester what I would do is; Shoot the film somewhere in the town center such as the town hall because its big and can be used to scare and humor the audience, I would have 7 people inside the town hall and have 1 person not like the other 6 to help create a comedy aspect of the film. I would shoot it in the town center because there are lots of places for food and drinks and clothes so it will lead the characters to enter the town center to get those things, which will inevitably lead them into danger, this will help the viewers stay interested in the film and hopefully enjoy it.
