Basis for Revision to Odd-Even Parking Ordinance • Excessive number of cars parked on street impediment to snow removal • In some instances, snow plows were not able to travel down streets due to parked cars • Contributes to hazardous driving conditions • Most cars parked on street, could be parked off street if owners were required to do so • Impacts emergency vehicles and ability to access residential homes • Longer snow removal work shifts due to street congestion
New Ordinance • Odd-Even parking will go into effect upon the accumulation of two inches of snow and will remain in effect until snow removal complete. • The switch over time is being changed to 6:00 a.m. • Violators ticketed as soon as possible – Cost $50 • In additions to tickets, 24 hour tow notices will be issued to all illegally parked vehicles. • Vehicles which have not been moved will be towed 24 hours after placement of sticker. • Additional officers will be assigned to issue parking citations, tow notices, and to tow vehicles

Honeytree Townhomes Parking currently prohibited on one side of following streets: • Beechwood Road • Birchwood Drive • Cedarbend Drive • Elmwood Road • Honeybear Lane • Robbin Drive Additional Prohibited Parking on One Side of street: • Cranbrook Court • Devon Lane • Windsor Lane • Harris Lane • Dunbridge Lane
Additional Parking Regulations – Dead End Streets • New ordinance would prohibit parking within thirty (30) feet of the end of a dead end street after a 2-inch snowfall • Majority of dead end streets are located within Honeytree Townhomes
Wesglen Primary Streets and Landscape Islands • No parking along center islands in the Wesglensubdivision • No Parking on Wesglen Parkway, Jonquil Drive, and Honeysuckle Drive
Enforcement • Warning citations will be issued during first two inch snow fall for first year of program • Beginning with second two inch snow fall, parking citations will be issued to all vehicles parked on street in violation of the odd-even parking ordinance • Tow stickers issued to all illegally parked snowed in vehicles, after 2-inch snowfall • Vehicles not moved 24 hours after sticker applied will be towed
