  2. Goal – Read 6 books by March 3rd

How It Works • Get a “Passport” from the library • Add your photo to the passport and display it in the library • Select one of the 50 titles or one of your own • The library has selected specific books to read that correspond to each state. These books take place in that state. • Read the book

  4. Record the book on your passport and get a READ stamp from the library • Place a star on the state where your book took place (see next slide) • NOTE: The library has selected specific books to read that correspond to each state. • These books take place in that state. • CELEBRATE YOUR SUCCESS!!

  5. After you read a book, place a star on the state that book is related to!

  6. CELEBRATE YOUR SUCCESS!! • If you complete the six books by March 3rd. You will get a special bookmarkand earn a pass to a special … • V.I.P Party!!

  9. FAQ’s • Can I read a book not on the list? • Yes, if the book takes place in a specific state and if you get pre-approval • OR • You can read a book that is about the subject listed in the last column, such as a book about space or a celebrity….. Lots of choices

Do the passports stay in the library until after March 3rd? • Yes • What are the dates for reading 6 books? • December 9th through March 3rd • Where can I find the lists? • On the counter in the library • What kind of books are on the list? • Sports • Adventure • Romance • Some short, some long …. Lots to select from
