  4. Policies • Read the course policies at the front of your texbook. • Additionally: • Be respectful to me, your peers, and yourself. • Don’t sleep. If you do, don’t expect me to help you out. • Sign the attendance sheet each day. • If you want help, you have to ask • I prefer to meet with you face-to-face, even if it’s not during office hours. Email me to set up a meeting time. • Don’t text, browse, or talk while I’m talking. It’s rude.

  5. Assignments Brief Assignments (BAs) • 8 – worth 300/7600 points (~3.9%) each Drafts • 4 – worth 800/7600 points (~10.5%) each Peer Critiques • 4 – worth 200/7600 points (~2.6%) each Writing Review • 1 - worth 400/7600 points (~5.3%) Participation • Worth 800/7600 points (~10.5%) total

Diagnostic Take the diagnostic. • Find a link for it at the top of your RW homepage (http://english.ttu.edu/Survey/TakeSurvey.asp?SurveyID=4J29542M856LM) • Use your TTU email address to login • Your results will be available at the top of your RW homepage when you’re done, but only if you use your TTU email address. • Schedule 60 min for it – Don’t walk away! • Use Firefox (Chrome or Safari if you don’t have FF), but NEVER USE Internet Explorer!
