Costing the product Average cost of items is Cotton per metre – £1.99 Cotton recycled - 1.00 per metre Threads per product – 30p Zips – 80p Beads and buttons – 15p to 1.50p depending on how much you have used Lining 75p per metre Elastane/cotton 3.99 per metre • We need to list all the outgoing costs of making the product • This can be listed as follows: Lesson objective- to know how to draw up a manufacturing specification for your product
