Causes and Symptoms Causes could include; lack of use or exercise, mutations, poor nourishment, or poor circulation. The symptom of atrophy is weakness or loss of strength in muscles.
Diagnostic Tools Blood tests X-rays MRI CT Scan Nerve conduction studies Muscle or nerve biopsy EMG
Treatment Treatment will depend on the severity of the muscle loss. Most common treatments are: Exercise Physical Therapy Ultrasound Therapy Surgery Dietary Changes
