SOIS REPORT • SUMMARY TECHNICAL STATUS • Application Services Working Group • Goal: Develop SOIS Application support layer services and associated protocols if required • Working Group Summary progress: • Remaining Red Books Drafted • All books internal WG review • Prototyping underway for all services • Plug and Play concepts finalised • Alignment/prototyping with BioNet initiated • Problems and Issues: • Difficulties in keeping plug play generic and applicable to all targets. Some reassessment needed and possible addition book. • Working Group Summary Situation:

SOIS REPORT • Subnetwork Services Working Group • Goal: Develop SOIS Subnetwork Services and associated protocols if required • Working Group Summary progress: • Red Books updated following prototyping • ECSS Milbus extension protocol (compliant with SOIS) released • SpaceWire compliant protocol initial draft spec reviewed • European industry (Saab Space) initiating development of SOIS compliant products • Problems and Issues • Need to release Magenta books to provide stable reference • Working Group Summary Situation:
