  2. Status of NIKHEF Testbed 1

  3. Basic Information • three clumps: each clump has • "farm server" • ten dual-processor 1GHz machines • located on special (protected) space of NIKHEF network • excellent network access • large storage in next bldg (SARA)

  4. Status as of Yesterday • LCFG server running(!) on 1 farm server • two nodes have been installed via LCFG • only bare RH 6.2 at the moment • lots of support coming from • ITeam (Maite Barroso-Lopez, Flavia Donno) • INFN (Marco Serra, Enrico Ferro) • CERN (Jan Iven) + LC Mario Reale

  5. Status as of Today • LCFG server running(!) on booder (farm server) • first update of RPM config success • manual only, Maite checking • as soon as LCFG client-server interaction OK: • figure out which list to use (McNab or INFN) • start installing grid nodes

  6. Other • NIKHEF has Condor experience • as soon as there is an info provider • we can test it • As soon as TB @ NIKHEF is stable, start working from CNAF VO/Repcat setup to implement our VO/Repcats • in general pleased with LCFG • documentation is main limitation!
