Thesis Statement • Your thesis statement should be the last sentence in your introduction. • There are 2 easy steps to take to create your thesis statement!
Step 1 • What are the main points that you researched? • List them now!
Step 2 • What did you determine about your 3 main points that you researched? • Write a statement about what you learned. • This will be your thesis statement!
Example • Topics Researched in the Medieval Ages: • Social Structure • Marriage • Work • Education in the working class
Example: Thesis Statement • The social structure of the middle class in Medieval England underwent many changes, especially in the areas of marriage, work, and education.
